Jen Shroder, Attorney at Law
Hey kids, remember Jen Shroder? The woman who claimed Bush was prophesied in the Bible?

Well, she's back, and she's written a column that's crazy even by Renew America's standards.

In lone defense of Scott Peterson

Jen Shroder

I don't get it. My favorite columnists are writing volumes to hang Scott Peterson. Crowds at the courthouse resemble lynch mobs. Peterson is being compared to Hitler, Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, and a hit list of gruesome ax murdering child molesters. But the columnists forgot one thing, where's the evidence?

Maybe his wife's body that washed ashore near where Peterson was fishing on the night of her disappearance? Maybe the fact that when police arrested him near the Mexican border, he had grown a beard, dyed his hair a different color and was carrying $10,000 in cash and false identification?

The news media has laughed a little too hard at the possibility of a satanic cult.

The media laugh at a lot of things. The idea that Alan Keyes could become a senator had them in stitches, for instance.

If you do the research, there are THOUSANDS of unrecovered missing women and children in California that the media ignores.

Damn media! Not wanting to spend precious resources tracking down missing people without any leads! It's a conspiracy, I tells ya!

There ARE childhood survivors of satanic cults who have testified to graphic descriptions of siblings being tortured to death and satanism is on the increase. Recently in Italy, two teenage members of a heavy metal rock band called the "Beasts of Satan" were killed by other band members in a human sacrifice involving black candles, goats' skulls and sexual violence. In Houston, Texas, a police officer gave school children satanic sex calendars featuring explicit details on satanic and sexual rituals for every day of the month.

And the actions of a stupid Italian metal band and a weirdo cop are evidence that "satanism is on the increase." Why Jen got rejected by all those law schools is beyond me.

In 1988, Geraldo Rivera received heavy criticism and pressure for reporting on Satan's Underground, creating a Satanic panic. His reports included butchered infants, breeding of babies for later sacrifice during Satanic rituals, ritual sexual abuse of children, mutilation of infants, drinking of blood, dismembered corpses, cannibal cults, and sex orgies. There were "gruesome rituals," and "gruesome memories," and "gruesome allegations," and "brutally violent, horrible crimes," and acts "so incredibly outrageous, so incredibly unbelievable" that he was reluctant to describe them. "The most gruesome scenes are left out," said Rivera, "Estimates are that there are over 1 million Satanists in this country...The majority of them are linked in a highly organized, very secretive network. From small towns to large cities, they have attracted police and FBI attention to their Satanic ritual child abuse, child pornography and grisly Satanic murders. The odds are that this is happening in your town."

God bless Geraldo, he was digging for THE TRUTH long before he joined FOX News! Similarly, Jerry Springer's been having a lot of transvestite midget polar bears on his show lately, which proves that transvestite midget polar bears are on the increase!!!

Laci's hometown has a satanic group called "The Order of the Lion" where it was last reported to have 20 to 30 members. Near the time of Laci's kidnapping, a brown van "adorned with satanic symbols" was sited near the Peterson home and some witnesses "recalled a group of suspicious men, one sporting a 666 tattoo, in the area."

Anyone who shops at Hot Topic must be a baby-killer. Duh, why didn't I think of it before.

In relation to "The Order of the Lion's" previous crimes, Modesto attorney William Arthur Miller said he recalled a member saying that the "sacrifice of a newborn baby was the 'cleaningest' thing you could do. I took that to mean to 'most cleansing,'" Miller said. A review of some of the writings revealed references to altars, witchcraft, blood-letting curses, dining with the dead, pentagrams, demons, goats, visions, secret oaths, and "the father of darkness."

According to this article, cited by Jen as a "source" for her column, "no cult killing by satanists has even been documented by police." So the police, in collaboration with the media (and the Muslims, and the Democratic Party!!!), are part of this Satanist cover-up too!!!

On the eastern edge of the San Francisco Bay near where the bodies of Laci and Connor washed up, huge paintings on sheets of plywood depict scenes of fire-breathing devils and ax-wielding grim reapers. One painting shows a man and woman in a canoe, with what appears to be three floating babies nearby, intertwined with an umbilical cord.

And as we all know, fucked-up graffiti is rare in big cities.

San Diego therapist Mary Battles said she remains convinced that ritual killings and abuse go on throughout the country. "Where you'll find the evidence is in the men and women who went through it and have scars on their bodies," said Battles. She said she has treated 50 people who were victims of satanic cults and, "I still get a steady stream of them."

Jen doesn't bother to read the rest of the article:

Surprisingly, Battles, who believes satanists routinely engage in murder, says she does not see cult members at work in Laci Peterson's killing.

"It doesn't sound like satanic stuff," she said. "They take people that nobody will miss. And they have big boats."

Oooop! Jen's star witness, who claims to have treated 50 victims of satanic cults, doesn't think Satanists were involved in Laci Peterson's murder! SHE MUST BE ONE OF THEM!!!!!

Anyway, back to Jen...

Anyone who has studied satanism knows there is a fascination with the innocence of infants. I knew a woman who witnessed her younger brother dangling from his feet being tortured to death. She was in long term therapy and had a difficult time dealing with life after growing up in a Satanist family. San Francisco, where Laci and Conner washed up, has an exploding populace of Satanists and is the founding home of the Church of Satan.

"Your honor, I know a lot of fucked up people. This is proof that Satanists killed Laci Peterson. And San Fransisco, the city where Scott Peterson went fishing the day of his wife's disappearance and the place where his wife's body mysteriously wound up, is the home of the Church of Satan. The defense rests."

Missing and abducted women and children are far more prevalent than realized... 4,815 children have gone missing under "Unknown Circumstances" — when circumstances surrounding the disappearance are unknown.

Jen's got all the instincts of a great lawyer. See, she takes the time to explain that "unknown circumstances" are just fancy legal jargon for "circumstances that are unknown." Johnnie Cochran, watch your ass!!!

545 children disappeared under suspicious circumstances...*

*When circumstances surrounding the disappearance are suspicious

...that may indicate a stranger abduction, and in 51 cases the stranger abduction was witnessed. Nationwide 58,200 children were abducted by nonfamily members.

And Satanists and the abortionists and the ACLU were behind EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM!!!!

Scott Peterson is clearly a first-class heel but I believe the witch-hunt upon him is exactly that, a lynch-mob inspired by witches out to avert the attention on the growing satanist population and the rituals that DO happen. How hard would it be for a murderer to dig up the bodies and dump them where everyone was looking for them, to convict Peterson?

And how easy would it have been for Peterson's defense team to get him off the hook if they had a single shred of evidence to implicate Satanists in the murder???

I also wonder what has motivated Rivera, who previously apologized to satanists for his coverage of them, to lead the witch hunt, with Rita Cosby salivating at his side. When Laci first disappeared, they trashed Scott for not speaking to the media. When he DID speak to the media, they endlessly dissected and speculated about everything he said. When he stopped speaking to the media, Cosby went into a froth insisting he had something to hide. If I was Scott Peterson, I would have hid from the media as well, especially Cosby and Rivera, who even resorted to name-calling.

Geraldo and Rita Cosby are Satanists too.

Though Fox News is my favorite news source, there are serious moments of doubt that I'm sure every conservative has experienced. This shark frenzy screaming for the death and torment of Peterson is macabre. I hope every married man thinks twice about cheating on their wives. You never know where you might wind up for talking trash to your girlfriend, perhaps in a jail cell on death row next to Peterson with the nation screaming for your execution. It's as frightening a scene as Fatal Attraction with a twist, the adorable wife didn't survive. Glenn Close played the blonde hussy desperate for attention. Sound familiar?

Wait a minute. Are the Satanists just people "desperate for attention?" If so, doesn't that take away from the media conspiracy to hide their existence? Jen can't even keep her own conspiracy theories in order. I have a headache...

No, I think she's accusing Amber Frey of being the "blonde hussy desperate for attention". Like it was Frey's fault that Scott Peterson lied to her.

Does that make Amber Frey a Satanist too? I'm having a really really hard time following Jen's "logic" in this column...

Innocent Satanists, Guilty “Cultists” and Scott Peterson

by Jen Shroder
12/16/04

A popular Satanist website that boasts of over 13 million guests featured my previous column, “In Lone Defense of Scott Peterson” creating an avalanche of outraged emails from “high priestesses,” witches and Satanists defending their name and challenging my views. Is there anyone ELSE that would like to take on millions of Satanists? If one post from me can create this much pressure, imagine what would happen in the mainstream.

My knowledge of this topic has been questioned, therefore, let me share my California history.

Before I committed my life to Christ, I worked at Renaissance Faires, I knew many witches and warlocks, read Tarot cards and studied the signs of the Zodiac. I never saw a satanic ritual but I knew which people to steer clear from. I heard stories from friends and police who also described chilling ritual findings at murder scenes. I later worked in a county position and was privy to suppressed police reports including the gruesome details of a ritual death, even in my little home town, details completely withheld from the media. (Yes, it does happen, and no, they won’t tell you).
snip
I know more than the average citizen about the occult. I know enough to know that writing this column is dangerous, and I suspect that’s why few columnists will. I wonder why Geraldo Rivera broke so many stories about cult slayings and then did a complete turn around, apologized to Satanists and is now leading the witch hunt against Peterson. Did Geraldo completely make up all those cult stories and if so, why is he still a respected journalist? OR, was he effectively threatened by “cultists,” which would explain his unbelievably vehement attacks on Peterson along with Rita Cosby, and his continued employment? How many times have we seen journalists resort to name-calling, hanging and convicting those on trial even before the trial began?

Along with outraged emails, I received mountains of “Finally! I thought the same thing” emails, and encouragement from authors and PhD’s who have researched cult rituals. Pamela Perskin*, Executive Director of the International Council on Cultism and Ritual Trauma wrote, “Among the variety of cults and rituals that we investigated, none would have "wasted" the bodies of their victims in the manner of the Peterson case. That is to say that the bodies and their blood would have played a significant role in any ritual. Had ritual crime been a factor, the bodies and blood more likely would have been burned or consumed although in some cases, the remains are ritually buried (i.e., the Kilroy case in Matamoros) or displayed (i.e., Arliss Perry at Stanford University). Ritual murders are either kept secret in which case the body and any evidence is meticulously destroyed, or they are flaunted as a demonstration of contempt for the authorities or a warning.”

(There’s one explanation for a few of those missing bodies from 10,684 suspicious abductions in California just last year.)

Perskin makes a good point with claims the bodies would have been sacred and ingested, except for one thing---seven months prior to Laci’s disappearance, Evelyn Hernandez, (24) also vanished one week before she was to deliver her baby. Her body washed up in the San Francisco Bay just like Laci’s did. Her five year old son was with her when she disappeared and they have not found him.

Has anyone considered that just maybe, the victims were kept alive for a time while the disappearances were publicized and the bodies, like contraband, became “too hot to handle” and were dumped, strategically where someone else would be blamed? With some people pointing at ritual sacrifices, how eager would “cultists” be to go through with their ritual, especially when there are so many other potential victims to nab. 10,684 is a lot of missing persons. Better to just give up Laci and Evelyn. (rest at her website)

He's not, Jen! That's why he works for FOX News!

Jesus Christ, this woman has serious, serious mental problems.

I hope she keeps writing for years...

I doubt Jen knows any warlocks, unless she's referring to D&D players or people who aren't involved in Paganism, because witches do not refer to male witches as warlocks. Anyone who has ever picked up a book about witchcraft or the history thereof should know this; it's generally in the first chapter that the term 'warlock' is derogatory. I, too, have worked Renaissance fairs and most people I've met there are either Pagan or Christian. I'm not saying no Satanists attend or work, but it's not as prevalent as she would make it out to be. And if following your horoscope and hanging out at a Ren Fair qualifies one as 'knowing more than the average citizen about the occult', then I suppose by living in the Bible Belt and celebrating Christmas, I know more than the average citizen about Christianity.

Her arguments are so flawed it's almost disgusting. The other thing that bothers me is that she groups 'the occult' with 'Satanism' as if the two are synonymous. She failed to note that the 'witches and warlocks' she knew at Ren fair were peace-loving Pagans, not Satanists. Huge difference, any Pagan would tell you.

I'm generally amused when someone who has no idea what they're talking about writes some long article full of B.S. I mean, I get the biggest kick out of her self-important perspective, and how she's able to craft a ridiculous argument from tiny fragments of truth and reality. It doesn't surprise me that she's a conservative because frankly, I find this exact trend constantly in the writing and argumentation of right-wingers. I'm not saying all conservatives are bad, but I find it hard to respect someone who talks out their ass and won't listen to people trying to guide them back to reality.

Your points are well-taken, but in Jen's world, most everybody's a Satanist. Muslims, Pagans, Democrats...

I mean, take a look at this classic, entitled, "Kerry: Proposing a Government of Baby-Blood-Sucking Vampires."

If I'm not mistaken, the book is about the overblown hysteria surrounding Satanism in the '80s, thanks in large part o Geraldo Rivera's "reporting."
